Account Manager - Convenience Channel

This person will be responsible for developing strong working relationships with key contacts, delivering sales growth, Market Share, Profitability and budgets within allocated categories and creating and delivering the Joint Customer Business Plan at a category level.

Role Responsibilities:

• Create & deliver JBP and promotional category plans
• Weekly financial and volume forecasting
• Build strong customer relationships with a large range of customer contacts
• Manage Profitability of specific categories within your account
• Create and develop the promotional plan for retailers
• Ensure timely listing of all NPD and distribution increases across current lines
• Maximise Share of Shelf, Availability & Feature implementation
• Deliver market leading in store activation
• Track performance of NPD launches and promotions etc.
• Provide timely insights & recommendations. Use Kantar, ACN, store visits & data to deliver insights
• Have monthly meetings with buyers to monitor performance & ensure plan is delivered
• Sell in all marketing and ensure NPD listings arrive on time

Key Skills and Experience required:

• Head Office interaction experience essential
• Customer Management & selling skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Experience developing customer relationships
• Delivery in different market conditions & customers
• Developing the Customer Investment Strategy
• Developing & implementing the Customer Business Plan
• Strong commercial acumen
• Analytical skills and highly numerate
