National Account Manager

The focus of this role will be successfully manage customer relationships across the multiples. This will ensure the effective operation of the business, maximising sales and profitability.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the day to day customer relationships across the multiples
• Lead the JBPs process with Multiples and manage the LTAs within the account also
• Responsible for sales forecasting and closely monitoring stocks to maximise customer service levels and stock levels
• Working with key suppliers on forecasting projections
• Reporting – Excel reporting on a daily basis
• Managing day to day relationships with key suppliers/principles to ensure their marketing plans are executed
• Promotional planning and implementation
• Identifying and building new customer and channel opportunities
• Identifying and developing profitable new product opportunities

Key skills/characteristics:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in FMCG and managing customer head office buyer relationships including Multiples
• Very strong relationship building skills
• Must hold a proven ability to successfully manager JBPs and LTAs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong numerical skills and commercial acumen
• Ability to work in fast paced and demanding environment
• 3rd level degree in business or related area
