Maintenance Manager

A strong performing Food Manufacturing business based in Co. Meath is seeking a Maintenance Manager for their site. This role will assume responsibility for the leadership and management of the maintenance team ensuring the delivery of plant and services across all Production Processes.

Role Responsibilities:

Effective implementation of Systems & associated reliable performance for all plant & equipment systems
Ensuring the necessary designated /critical spares and consumables for a safe, effective and efficient operation are available on the inventory system
Continuous optimisation of all activities delivering on waste and cost reduction
Achievement of operational, compliance and financial targets
Delivering a Lean Operating Maintenance System supporting asset reliability
Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance is carried out under GMP conditions and in a safe working environment
Set and provide input to performance indicators for the maintenance team
Directly responsible for maintaining the plants equipment & its associated standards ensuring supply of quality product to customers
Talent management at a higher level by assessing and developing

Requirements:

Adequate experience of managing a Maintenance team within a manufacturing environemnt
Ideally have strong operating knowledge of Food safety GMP's and their application to the maintenance function
Knowledge of applicable regulatory guidelines (HAS, engineering, mtce)
Mechanical/Electrical background
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to use own initiative
Self-driven and self-motivated
